Job Description
The Family Nurse Practitioner provides clinical care under supervision, including diagnosis, treatment, and health education, with a focus on STD prevention.
Responsibilities include examining patients, ordering and interpreting tests, developing care plans, prescribing medications, and performing procedures like immunizations. Supervises staff and students, participates in quality assurance, and maintains accurate, timely documentation. Requires current CA license, NP certification, DEA, BLS, and at least 2 years of clinical experience. Must demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, work independently, and adapt to a fast-paced environment. Physical demands include exposure to biological hazards, lifting up to 25 lbs, and dexterity for fine motor tasks. Schedule typically Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays, with travel between clinic locations. Pay range is $65.00–$80.00/hour, full-time, in person.
