Job Description

The Family Nurse Practitioner provides clinical care under supervision, including diagnosis, treatment, and health education, with a focus on STD prevention.

  • Responsibilities include examining patients, ordering and interpreting tests, developing care plans, prescribing medications, and performing procedures like immunizations.
  • Supervises staff and students, participates in quality assurance, and maintains accurate, timely documentation.
  • Requires current CA license, NP certification, DEA, BLS, and at least 2 years of clinical experience.
  • Must demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, work independently, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical demands include exposure to biological hazards, lifting up to 25 lbs, and dexterity for fine motor tasks.
  • Schedule typically Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays, with travel between clinic locations.
  • Pay range is $65.00–$80.00/hour, full-time, in person.
