The Family Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive care across all age groups in an outpatient setting, emphasizing wellness, illness prevention, and management of minor and stable chronic conditions.

• Perform clinical assessments, health exams, and coordinate prenatal care with physicians.
• Deliver patient education on topics like family planning, prenatal health, and disease management.
• Participate in performance improvement, community outreach, and epidemiological projects.
• Maintain accurate documentation, support team collaboration, and serve as a preceptor for students.
• Meet licensing, certification, and continuing education requirements while demonstrating key skills in patient care, safety, and teamwork.

Minimum qualifications include a master’s degree in nursing, current RN license, board certification, and a community health focus.
