The Family Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive care across all age groups in an outpatient setting, emphasizing wellness, illness prevention, and management of minor and stable chronic conditions.
- Perform clinical assessments, health exams, and coordinate prenatal care with physicians.
- Deliver patient education on topics like family planning, prenatal health, and disease management.
- Participate in performance improvement, community outreach, and epidemiological projects.
- Maintain accurate documentation, support team collaboration, and serve as a preceptor for students.
- Meet licensing, certification, and continuing education requirements while demonstrating key skills in patient care, safety, and teamwork.
