Job Description
This position seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced urgent care setting.
Responsibilities include performing physical exams, ordering and interpreting tests, diagnosing, prescribing treatments, and performing procedures such as laceration repairs and orthopedic care.
Providers will explain procedures, discuss test results, document findings, and coordinate follow-up care within designated timeframes.
The role involves managing communications for various events and providing medical oversight, consultation, and supervision as needed.
The position is safety-sensitive and may include managing special projects.
Qualifications include an accredited medical, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant degree, current licensure (with board certification for NPs), DEA, and BLS certifications.
Preferred candidates have at least one year of experience and possess skills in medical coding, regulatory compliance, and proficiency with standard PC applications.
Ability to supervise and evaluate staff is also essential.
