Job Description
This position involves providing high-quality urgent care medical services as an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant).
Perform comprehensive physical exams and assessments for urgent, emergent, and non-urgent patients. Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging to inform diagnoses. Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and conditions through prescriptions, therapies, and procedures such as laceration repair and orthopedics. Communicate test results and treatment plans clearly to patients, maintaining accurate chart documentation within 24-48 hours. Provide medical orders, oversight, and consultation, including supervising staff and managing special projects. Maintain necessary licenses and certifications, including board certification for Nurse Practitioners and DEA registration. Possess knowledge of medical coding, billing, and regulations like OSHA and HIPAA, with proficiency in basic PC applications. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
