Job Description

This position involves providing high-quality urgent care medical services as an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant).

  • Perform comprehensive physical exams and assessments for urgent, emergent, and non-urgent patients.
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging to inform diagnoses.
  • Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and conditions through prescriptions, therapies, and procedures such as laceration repair and orthopedics.
  • Communicate test results and treatment plans clearly to patients, maintaining accurate chart documentation within 24-48 hours.
  • Provide medical orders, oversight, and consultation, including supervising staff and managing special projects.
  • Maintain necessary licenses and certifications, including board certification for Nurse Practitioners and DEA registration.
  • Possess knowledge of medical coding, billing, and regulations like OSHA and HIPAA, with proficiency in basic PC applications.
  • Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
