Job Description

The Family Practice with Obstetrics (FPOB) Physician provides comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, with a focus on prenatal, perinatal, and postpartum care.

This role includes full-spectrum family medicine—wellness exams, chronic disease management, urgent care, and minor procedures—along with obstetric services such as prenatal visits, labor management, deliveries, and postpartum follow-up.

The physician cares for newborns and pediatric patients, coordinates with multidisciplinary teams, and participates in quality initiatives and community outreach. They are responsible for maintaining accurate documentation and providing after-hours and hospital call coverage.

Qualifications include an MD or DO, completion of family medicine residency, additional obstetrics training, an active medical license, board certification or eligibility, and relevant certifications like BLS, ACLS, NRP, and ALSO preferred.
