Job Description
The Family Practice with Obstetrics (FPOB) Physician provides comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, with a focus on prenatal, perinatal, and postpartum services.
Deliver full-spectrum family medicine, including wellness exams, chronic disease management, urgent care, and minor procedures. Perform obstetric care such as prenatal visits, labor management, deliveries, and postpartum follow-up. Care for newborns and provide pediatric services as part of family-centered care. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in quality improvement and patient-centered initiatives. Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and maternal health. Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR and participate in community outreach, call rotations, and after-hours coverage, including hospital call for labor and delivery. Qualifications include an MD or DO degree, completion of family medicine residency, additional obstetric training, a valid medical license, board certification or eligibility, and current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and possibly ALSO.
