Job Description
The Family Practice with Obstetrics (FPOB) Physician provides comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, with a focus on prenatal, perinatal, and postpartum care.
Responsibilities include offering full-spectrum family medicine—wellness exams, chronic disease management, urgent care, and minor procedures—along with obstetric services such as prenatal visits, labor management, deliveries, and postpartum follow-up.
Additional duties involve caring for newborns and children, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, participating in quality initiatives, educating patients on health topics, maintaining accurate EHR documentation, and participating in community outreach and call schedules.
Qualifications include an MD or DO degree, completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency, additional obstetrics training, current unrestricted medical license, board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, and hospital privileges. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and ALSO are preferred.
