Job Description
The Family Practice with Obstetrics (FPOB) Physician provides comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, with a focus on prenatal, perinatal, and postpartum services.
Deliver full-spectrum family medicine, including wellness exams, chronic disease management, urgent care, and minor procedures. Perform obstetric care such as prenatal visits, labor management, deliveries, and postpartum follow-up. Care for newborns and provide pediatric services within family-centered care. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in quality improvement and PCMH activities. Educate patients on health promotion and disease prevention. Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR and participate in community outreach and call rotations, including after-hours and weekends. Qualifications include an MD or DO degree, completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency, OB training, unrestricted medical license, board certification or eligibility, and hospital privileges. BLS, ACLS, NRP, and ALSO certifications are preferred.
