Job Description
The Family Therapist/Clinician II provides assessment and mental health treatment for youth and families in various settings, leading projects and mentoring staff.
Essential functions include conducting clinical assessments, developing and modifying treatment plans, facilitating individual, family, and group therapy, and collaborating with community providers.
Responsibilities also involve documentation, supervising interns, leading projects, providing clinical guidance, and handling transportation as needed.
Requirements include a Master’s degree, at least 3 years of post-degree experience, active NYS licensure (e.g., LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC), a valid NYS driver’s license, and CPR certification within 60 days.
Knowledge of community services, advocacy skills, and adherence to ethical standards are essential.
Physical demands involve variable scheduling, lifting, driving, and mobility activities.
Compensation ranges from $62,500 to $84,500, plus a $4,000 sign-on bonus.
