Job Description
The Family Therapist/Clinician II provides assessment and mental health treatment to youth and families in various settings, leading projects and mentoring staff.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting clinical assessments, developing and modifying treatment plans
- Facilitating individual, group, and family therapy
- Collaborating with community providers and documenting all clinical activities
- Managing complex cases independently and supervising interns and staff
- Leading projects, providing clinical consultation, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
- Providing transportation and support in residential or community programs as needed
Requirements:
- Master’s degree and at least 3 years of clinical experience
- Active NYS licensure (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LMHC)
- Valid NYS driver’s license, willingness to travel, and CPR certification
Skills and qualities: effective communication, cultural competence, advocacy, ethical conduct, and knowledge of legal rights.
Physical demands include mobility, lifting up to 50 lbs., and working variable hours, including evenings and weekends.
Compensation ranges from $62,500 to $84,500, with a $4,000 sign-on bonus offered for this position.
