Job Description
The Family Therapist/Clinician II provides assessment, therapy, and care coordination for youth and families in various settings, leading projects and mentoring staff.
Key responsibilities include conducting clinical assessments, developing and adjusting treatment plans, facilitating individual, family, and group therapy, making referrals, and maintaining documentation.
They will handle complex cases independently, supervise interns, and lead clinical projects and training.
Requirements include a Master’s degree, at least 3 years of post-Master’s clinical experience, active NYS licensure (e.g., LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC), a valid NYS driver’s license, and CPR certification within 60 days.
Knowledge of community services, advocacy, and ethical standards is essential. The role involves variable scheduling, physical activity, and travel, with a pay range of $62,500-$84,500 plus potential bonuses.
