Family Therapist/Clinician II – IDD

Job Description

We are offering a $4,000 sign-on bonus for Clinician positions. The Family Therapist/Clinician II provides assessment and mental health care to youth and families in various settings, leading projects and mentoring staff.

Responsibilities include creating and modifying treatment plans, facilitating individual, family, and group therapy, collaborating with community providers, maintaining documentation, and supervising interns. The role involves working independently on complex cases, leading projects, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

Requirements include a Master’s degree, at least 3 years of clinical experience, and an active NYS license (LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, etc.). Must have a valid NYS driver’s license, willingness to travel, and CPR certification within 60 days.

Skills needed include effective communication, cultural competence, advocacy, and knowledge of legal rights. Physical demands involve variable schedules, lifting, driving, and occasional exposure to environmental hazards. Compensation ranges from $62,500 to $84,500 based on experience.
