Job Description

The Family Therapist/Clinician II provides assessment and therapy for youth and families in various settings, leading projects and mentoring staff.

Responsibilities include creating and modifying treatment plans, facilitating individual, family, and group therapy, collaborating with community providers, maintaining documentation, and managing complex cases independently.

Supervisory duties involve mentoring interns and guiding clinical staff, as well as leading projects and offering training.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree and at least 3 years of clinical experience
  • Active NYS license in relevant mental health field
  • Valid NYS driver’s license and ability to travel
  • CPR certification within 60 days (if applicable)


    • Skills required include effective communication, advocacy, ethical conduct, and knowledge of legal/social rights. The role involves physical demands such as lifting, driving, and working variable hours, including evenings and weekends.

    Compensation ranges from $62,500 to $84,500, depending on experience, with a $4,000 sign-on bonus offered for clinician positions.
