Job Description
The Family Therapist/Clinician II provides expert assessment and therapy to youth and families in various settings, leading projects and mentoring staff.
Essential functions include conducting clinical assessments, developing and modifying treatment plans, facilitating individual, group, and family therapy, and collaborating with community providers.
Responsibilities also involve documentation, case management, supervising interns, leading projects, and providing clinical guidance.
Requires a Master’s degree, at least 3 years of post-Master’s experience, and active NYS licensure (LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, etc.).
Must have a valid NYS driver’s license, be willing to travel, and obtain CPR certification if necessary.
Skills include strong communication, cultural competence, advocacy, and understanding of legal rights. Physical demands involve variable work hours, lifting, driving, and physical activity.
Salary ranges from $62,500 to $84,500, with a $4,000 sign-on bonus.
