Gastroenterologist – ANY STATE LICENSE ACCEPTED

Job Description

The position seeks a Board Certified or Eligible Gastroenterologist to join a veteran-focused outpatient clinic.

Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and management of gastrointestinal and hepatic conditions.

Perform endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopy, EGD, sigmoidoscopy, and PEG tube placement.

Offer consultative services to outpatient and inpatient Veterans, ensuring accurate documentation in electronic health records.

Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities, adhering to VA policies.

Qualifications include: MD or DO from an accredited school, fellowship training in Gastroenterology, Board certification or eligibility, unrestricted medical license, and current BLS/ACLS certifications. Prior VA or federal experience is preferred.
