Gastroenterologist – ANY STATE LICENSE ACCEPTED

Job Description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist to provide on-site care for Veterans at the Central Iowa VA. This part-time role includes outpatient clinics, inpatient consults, and endoscopic procedures (EGD and colonoscopy). All equipment, supplies, and support staff are provided.

Responsibilities include performing GI consults, conducting diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, completing documentation in the electronic health record, and participating in training and quality assurance.

Requirements are MD/DO with Board Certification in Gastroenterology, active U.S. medical license, current BLS/ACLS, at least 2 years of recent GI practice, and ability to obtain VA credentialing. Compliance with immunizations, TB testing, and background checks is necessary.

Details: On-site schedule is 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, two days weekly. Compensation is competitive, with benefits including malpractice insurance, travel, and lodging paid by Si2 Healthcare. This role offers the opportunity to serve Veterans in a collaborative environment.
