General Anesthesiologist

Job Description

The full-time General Anesthesiologist in Virginia Beach will provide anesthesia at multiple surgical centers, collaborating with surgical teams and supervising certified registered nurse anesthetists.

Responsibilities include administering general and regional anesthesia, monitoring patient vital signs, performing airway management, and evaluating patients pre- and post-operatively.

They will also oversee patient records, order tests, and mentor anesthesia staff and trainees.

Requirements:

• MD or DO degree, board-certified or eligible in anesthesiology
• Minimum 3+ years high-acuity anesthesia experience
• VA medical license and strong regional anesthesia skills
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient safety focus
