Hand Surgeon Independent 1099

Job Description

Seeking a hand surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor to provide on-site care at a healthcare facility. This flexible role involves treating patients during a 4-hour weekly or biweekly shift, complementing your existing practice.

Responsibilities include managing medically complex cases, facilitating return-to-work and functional restoration, and collaborating with medical and therapy providers. You will deliver both surgical and non-surgical orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal services, communicate with employers, and participate in case management.

Qualifications:

• Experience with work-related injuries preferred
• Licensure in the state of practice
• MD or DO degree from an accredited program
• Unrestricted DEA license
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Hand Surgery
• Medical Malpractice Insurance coverage
