Hand Surgeon Independent Contractor

Job Description

A healthcare company is seeking a hand surgeon to join as a 1099 independent contractor for a flexible, part-time role. The position involves treating patients onsite for approximately 4 hours weekly or biweekly, complementing your current practice.

As an advanced specialist, you will manage medically complex patients, facilitate return to work, and provide both surgical and non-surgical orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal care. Collaboration with medical and therapy providers and communication with employers are key components.

Qualifications include experience with work-related injuries, licensure, MD or DO degree, unrestricted DEA license, board certification or eligibility in Hand Surgery, and malpractice insurance. Compensation is based on a revenue share model.
