Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated High-Risk Breast Nurse Practitioner to join our specialized breast health team. This role involves providing advanced nursing care, coordinating complex treatment plans, and supporting patients with high-risk breast conditions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient advocacy, expertise in breast cancer risk assessment, and experience managing intricate clinical scenarios.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories, physical exams, and risk evaluations specific to high-risk breast conditions.
Developing and implementing personalized care plans with multidisciplinary teams, following current guidelines.
Educating patients on genetic testing, screening, lifestyle modifications, and preventive strategies tailored to high-risk populations.
Qualifications:
Valid Nurse Practitioner license with oncology or related certification preferred.
Experience in high-risk breast care, including genetic counseling and risk assessment tools.
Proficiency with Epic EHR; critical care experience (ICU or Level I Trauma) and familiarity with acute pain and airway management are highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills for patient education.
