We are seeking a dedicated High-Risk Breast Nurse Practitioner to join our specialized breast health team.
This role involves providing advanced nursing care, coordinating complex treatment plans, and supporting patients with high-risk breast conditions.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient advocacy, expertise in breast cancer risk assessment, and experience managing intricate clinical scenarios.
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories, physical exams, and risk evaluations. Develop and implement personalized care plans with multidisciplinary teams, following current guidelines. Educate patients on genetic testing, screening, lifestyle modifications, and preventive strategies. Qualifications: Valid Nurse Practitioner license, with oncology or related certification preferred. Experience in high-risk breast care, genetic counseling, and risk assessment tools. Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system. Critical care experience, such as ICU or Level I Trauma, and familiarity with pain and airway management, are a plus. Excellent communication skills for patient education. Work is in person.
