Home Health Speech Therapist

Job Description

This position is limited to Speech Therapists performing home visits in Tucson, AZ, providing independent, age-appropriate speech therapy evaluations and treatments in patients’ residences.

• Evaluate and interpret patient needs, establish treatment goals, and develop care plans.
• Reassess progress regularly, modify treatment as needed, and initiate discharge planning.
• Document patient management accurately and timely, and coordinate with healthcare team members.
• Participate in educational activities, clinical research, and multidisciplinary conferences.
• Assist in departmental program development and staff education.

Minimum requirements include 2+ years of home health speech therapy experience, a valid Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist License, driver’s license, and BLS certification. Preferred qualifications include experience with clinical info systems and knowledge of Medicare/OASIS. The role offers flexible hours (20–30/week), a pay rate of $80–$90/hour, and involves travel (~75%). Must be willing to work on the road, with a Monday–Friday schedule and weekends as needed.
