Job Description
This full-time inpatient Behavioral Health Therapist provides therapeutic support, care coordination, and advocacy for mental health patients, working closely with an interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities include conducting psychosocial assessments, developing and updating individualized treatment plans, facilitating individual and group therapies (such as CBT and DBT), and evaluating patient progress.
The role involves creating discharge plans, collaborating on hospital policies, mentoring staff, and engaging in community mental health initiatives.
Qualifications include a Master’s in social work, NYS Clinical Social Worker license, and preferred inpatient psychiatric experience.
