Job Description

The Inpatient Supervisor is a night-shift leader supporting safe, compassionate, and high-quality pediatric care across multiple inpatient units.


This full-time role (6 pm-6 am, flexible hours) offers 36-40 hours weekly, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement match, and generous PTO.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and coordinating care plans with care teams, children, and families
  • Ensuring safe, consistent clinical care aligned with best practices
  • Managing staff scheduling, supervision, and performance feedback
  • Addressing family and staff concerns professionally
  • Building team communication and serving as on-call support when needed
  • Supporting staff development and collaborating on care and workflow improvements

    • Requirements include an RN license in Iowa, with preferred pediatric or complex medical experience, certifications, and BLS. Must be physically able to lift 35 lbs and communicate effectively.
