Job Description
The Inpatient Supervisor is a trusted leader supporting safe, compassionate, and high-quality pediatric care across multiple inpatient units during night shifts.
Lead and coordinate individualized care plans, working closely with care teams, children, and families to achieve meaningful outcomes. Ensure clinical care is delivered safely, consistently, and aligned with best practices and guidelines. Support staffing needs through scheduling, supervision, and performance feedback. Respond professionally to questions and concerns from families, staff, and partners. Build strong team relationships and promote open communication. Serve as on-call support for medical group homes as needed. Foster staff growth, engagement, and job satisfaction to support retention. Partner with leadership to improve care, workflows, and team effectiveness. Requirements include RN licensure in Iowa, preferred pediatric nursing experience, and active BLS certification. The role offers flexible 36-40 hour overnight shifts with benefits, including medical, dental, vision, retirement, and PTO.
