Job Description

Seeking an experienced Internal Medicine Physician (MD or DO) licensed in California for a 1099 contractor role at a residential eating disorder treatment center in Monterey.

Provide in-person medical assessments, follow-ups, and participate in treatment planning

Manage labs, medications, and address medical issues

Support psychiatric and nursing staff, document in electronic health records

Be available for emergencies and participate in medical rounds

Travel to Monterey and Santa Barbara facilities twice monthly

Qualifications: Active CA license, DEA registration, experience with eating disorders or behavioral health preferred, strong communication skills, professional liability insurance.

Compensation: $250 per initial visit, $125 per follow-up, $1,500 monthly facility stipend, approximately 5-10 hours/week, $14,000-$17,000/month. This is an on-site part-time contract role.
