The Lead Physician for Rural Primary Care Services oversees high-quality healthcare delivery at rural sites, ensuring clinical guideline adherence, supervising providers, and developing rural health training initiatives.

Responsibilities include providing patient diagnosis and treatment, supporting nurse practitioners and PAs, conducting provider evaluations, managing clinical risk, and collaborating on quality improvement and health IT projects.

Qualifications encompass a board-certified MD/DO with California licensure, experience in primary care and management, and proficiency in healthcare accreditation standards. Bilingual skills are preferred.
