The Occupational Mentor Certification Program (OMCP) is a correctional education initiative supporting incarcerated individuals in California, providing substance use disorder training and certification to become Certified Alcohol and Other Drug Counselors.
The OMCP Internship Supervisor (IS) assists the Program Director, supervises participants during internships, and ensures accurate tracking of hours and credentials. This full-time role involves on-site oversight, clinical supervision, record review, and collaboration with staff and contractors.
Qualifications include certification as an AOD Counselor with at least five years of experience, knowledge of certification processes, and the ability to pass background checks.
