Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Cardiologist for weekend coverage (1:4) in a hospital-based setting.


  • Provide weekend call and procedural coverage, typically Friday to Sunday evening.
  • Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
  • Evaluate and manage acute cardiac patients in inpatient and procedural settings.
  • Collaborate with hospital staff and the cardiovascular team to ensure continuity of care.
  • Document clinical activities accurately and promptly per standards.

    • Qualifications:

  • Board Certified/Eligible in Interventional Cardiology with an active Texas medical license.
  • Preferably 2–5 years of experience; current hospital privileges or eligibility for credentialing.
  • Strong communication, clinical judgment, and procedural skills.

  • Contract position offering competitive daily pay ($1,000–$1,500).
  • Flexible weekend schedule; in person work in New Braunfels, TX with relocation required before starting.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% preferred.
