Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Cardiologist to provide weekend coverage (1:4) for hospital-based cardiac services.

  • Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations.
  • Evaluate and manage acute cardiac patients in inpatient and procedural settings.
  • Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure continuity of care.
  • Provide weekend call and procedural coverage, typically Friday to Sunday evening.
  • Document clinical activities accurately and promptly.

    • Qualifications:

  • Board Certified/Eligible in Interventional Cardiology.
  • Active Texas medical license and hospital privileges or eligibility.
  • 2–5 years of experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, clinical judgment, and procedural skills.

    • Compensation & Schedule:

  • Competitive daily rate ($1,000–$1,500).
  • Flexible weekend schedule, with in-person work in New Braunfels, TX.
  • Contract position with potential travel (25%).
