Job Description
The Licensed Addictions Counselor provides individual and group chemical dependency services in a therapeutic community setting.
Conducts family treatment meetings, evaluations, and develops personalized treatment plans. Delivers therapy, education, and makes referrals for aftercare. Documents sessions, progress, and maintains required paperwork. Participates in staff meetings and reports regularly to supervisors. Utilizes evidence-based practices like Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Works well under pressure, motivates residents, and adapts to change. Requires Montana licensure as an Addictions Counselor with relevant experience or education. Full-time role based in Butte, MT, with benefits, training, and possible travel. Must be able to relocate before starting. Schedule includes 10-hour shifts, possibly evenings and weekends.
