This full-time position requires knowledge of
-42 CFR Part 2 and HIPAA
-Reporting Maltreatment of Vulnerable Adults and Minors
-Conducting Direct Access and Comprehensive Substance Use Assessments
-Clinical Evaluations and Diagnoses
-Understanding Substance Use Disorders and Co-Occurring Disorders
-Referral Processes and Case Management
-Group Dynamics and Treatment Modalities
-Residential/Outpatient Treatment and Aftercare Resources
-Professional Ethics and Conduct
-Diagnostic Criteria
Skills include evaluation, placement, maintaining clinical records, developing individual treatment plans, counseling (group, individual, family), diagnosis, referrals, and co-occurring treatment.
Experience with addiction counseling preferred; education at least a bachelor’s degree.
