Job Description

Seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Therapist in Boise to provide culturally appropriate, evidence-based mental health services to diverse, low-income populations, including refugees and immigrants.

  • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial evaluations and develop treatment plans meeting state and Medicaid requirements.
  • Deliver therapy sessions in various settings, including community and home visits, utilizing culturally sensitive interventions.
  • Offer case management and crisis intervention, advocating for clients’ needs related to housing, food, medical access, and other social supports.
  • Maintain documentation, participate in ongoing education, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and partner organizations.
  • Qualifications include active licensure in Idaho, a master’s degree in a relevant field, and experience working with diverse populations and mental health conditions.
  • Strong communication, professional judgment, confidentiality adherence, and reliable transportation are required.

Compensation ranges from $40-$50/hour based on credentials and performance, with benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and professional development.
