Job Description
We are seeking a *Licensed Mental Health Clinician* to join our team at a correctional facility in Alfred, ME.
Provide psychosocial assessments, diagnostic impressions, counseling, crisis intervention, and case management services to patients. Collect patient information through interviews, history, tests, and observations. Evaluate data to identify issues and determine appropriate therapeutic approaches or referrals. Deliver crisis management counseling and short-term therapy as needed. Develop treatment and follow-up care plans. Offer therapeutic crisis intervention and emergency services. Apply knowledge of DSM-5 criteria and appropriate interventions. Collaborate with other health practitioners and staff. Qualifications include a Master’s in Social Work or related field, current state license, CPR certification, and ability to pass background checks.
