Job Description
We are seeking a *Licensed Mental Health Clinician* to join our team at a correctional facility in Alfred, ME.
Provide psychosocial assessments, diagnostic impressions, counseling, crisis intervention, and case management services to inmates within a multidisciplinary team. Collect patient information through interviews, case histories, tests, and observations to inform treatment plans. Evaluate data to identify issues and determine appropriate therapeutic approaches or referrals. Deliver crisis management counseling, short-term therapy, and emergency services as needed. Develop treatment and follow-up care plans, demonstrating knowledge of DSM-5 criteria and interventions. Collaborate with other behavioral health professionals and staff to support patient care. Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field, current state license, CPR certification, and ability to pass background checks.
