Job Description
We are seeking a Licensed Mental Health Clinician to join our team at a correctional facility in Alfred, ME.
Provide psychosocial assessments, counseling, crisis intervention, and case management to patients within a multidisciplinary team. Collect information through interviews, history, tests, and observations to evaluate patient needs. Determine appropriate therapeutic approaches and coordinate referrals. Offer crisis management, short-term therapy, and emergency services as needed. Prepare treatment plans and follow-up care programs. Maintain knowledge of DSM-5 criteria and collaborate with other health practitioners. Qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field, current license, CPR certification, and successful background check.
