About the Role:
The Licensed Mental Health Clinician specializing in pediatrics will provide mental health support to children and their families in primary care settings, addressing social, emotional, and developmental needs.
Key Functions:
– Offer emotional support and counseling to pediatric patients and families.
– Conduct assessments of social, environmental, and psychosocial needs.
– Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
– Conduct therapy sessions and provide education on coping and community resources.
– Maintain accurate documentation and stay current on best practices.
Qualifications:
– Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or related field.
– Active licensure (LMHC, LICSW, etc.).
– Pediatric or primary care experience preferred.
– Strong communication, empathy, and teamwork skills.
