Community Health is a primary care network offering comprehensive programs, including wellness, dental, behavioral health, and pediatric services, serving insured and uninsured patients across Rutland and southern Addison counties.

About the Role:
The Licensed Mental Health Clinician specializing in pediatrics will provide mental health treatment and support to children and their families in primary care settings, addressing social, emotional, and developmental needs.

Key Functions:

  • Offer emotional support and counseling to pediatric patients and families.
  • Assess social, environmental, and psychosocial needs, including social determinants of health.
  • Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Conduct therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques.
  • Provide education on coping, disease management, and community resources.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and stay informed on best practices.
  • Requirements:
    Master’s degree in social work, therapy, or counseling; licensed clinician (LMHC, LICSW, etc.); pediatric or primary care experience preferred; strong communication, empathy, and teamwork skills.
