Community Health is a primary care network offering recognized programs in wellness, dental, behavioral health, and pediatrics, serving insured and uninsured populations across Rutland and southern Addison counties.

About the Role:
The Licensed Mental Health Clinician specializing in pediatrics will provide mental health treatment, support, and advocacy for children and families in the primary care setting, addressing social, emotional, and developmental needs.

Key Functions:

  • Provide emotional support and counseling to pediatric patients and families.
  • Assess social, environmental, and psychosocial needs, including social determinants of health.
  • Develop individualized care plans with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Conduct therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques.
  • Educate families on coping, disease management, and community resources.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and stay current with best practices.
  • Qualifications:
    Master’s degree in social work, therapy, or counseling, and valid licensure (LMHC, LICSW, etc.) required. Prior pediatric experience is preferred, with strong communication, empathy, and team collaboration skills.
