About the Role: The Licensed Mental Health Clinician specializing in pediatrics provides mental health treatment to children, supporting their social, emotional, and developmental needs within a primary care setting.
Key Functions:
- Offer emotional support and counseling to pediatric patients and families.
- Assess social, environmental, and psychosocial needs, including social determinants of health.
- Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
- Conduct therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques.
- Educate families on coping strategies, disease management, and community resources.
- Maintain accurate documentation and stay current on best practices.
Requirements: Master’s degree in social work or related field, valid licensure, pediatric or primary care experience preferred, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate approach.
