About the role: A Licensed Mental Health Clinician specializing in pediatrics will provide mental health treatment, support, and advocacy for children and families in the primary care setting, addressing social, emotional, and developmental needs.
Key functions include:
- Providing emotional support and counseling to pediatric patients and families.
- Assessing social, environmental, and psychosocial needs.
- Developing individualized care plans with a multidisciplinary team.
- Conducting therapy sessions and delivering education on coping and resources.
- Maintaining documentation and staying current on best practices.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or related field; active licensure; pediatric or primary care experience preferred; strong communication, empathy, and teamwork skills.
