Seeking an experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LCSW, LCMHC, etc.) for a correctional facility in Pasco County, FL. This part-time or full-time role offers evening shifts (11:30am-10:00pm, Wed-Sat).

As a correctional mental health professional, you’ll assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with mental illnesses, substance use disorders, and behavioral issues, working alongside correctional and medical staff to ensure quality, secure care.

Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, documenting progress, developing treatment plans, facilitating group therapy, and participating in educational activities. Must demonstrate knowledge of DSM criteria, maintain case files, and ensure compliance with policies and standards.

Qualifications include a master’s degree, active licensure in Florida, 3+ years of clinical experience, and ability to handle physically demanding tasks. Strong communication, organizational skills, and professionalism are essential.
