Job Description
The LPC is a key member of the clinical care team, providing counseling and therapy services to individuals, couples, families, and groups in various settings based on patient needs.
Assess patient behavior and mental health status, including suicide risk evaluations and clinical assessments.
Conduct individual, family, couple, and group therapy sessions for adults and children with mental health issues.
Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans with specified goals.
Collaborate with team members, community agencies, and billing staff to coordinate care and ensure proper documentation.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy protocols, including HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications include licensure as a Professional Counselor, at least two years of clinical experience, and proficiency in documentation. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are preferred.
