Licensed Social Worker / Licensed Professional Counselor

Job Description

Seeking a licensed mental health professional (LPC, LSW, or LCSW) for a full-time role in a correctional facility’s medical department in McElhattan, PA.

Conduct clinical assessments, including mental status exams, diagnoses, and treatment plans, and make appropriate referrals.

Perform risk assessments, especially for inmates at risk of suicide or self-harm, following established protocols.

Serve as the mental health liaison, facilitating hospital admissions and monitoring services to ensure quality care.

Participate in quality assurance activities and develop in-service education programs.

Collect data and prepare monthly performance reports.
