Job Description

Seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a full-time role at a correctional facility in McElhattan, PA.

  • Conduct clinical assessments, including mental status exams, diagnoses, and treatment plans, with appropriate referrals to psychiatry.
  • Perform risk assessments for inmates at risk of suicide or self-harm, following established protocols.
  • Serve as the mental health liaison for external services and facilitate inmate admissions to forensic hospitals when needed.
  • Monitor mental health and clinical services to ensure compliance with standards and participate in quality assurance.
  • Develop and deliver in-service education programs and prepare monthly performance reports.

    Requirements: Must be licensed as LPC or LCSW in Pennsylvania, with a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field, and at least two years of experience.
