Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor – Detox Center

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor to provide counseling to individuals in a detox facility.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, offering individual, group, and family therapy, utilizing evidence-based techniques like CBT and MI, monitoring progress, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and maintaining confidential records.

Requirements are an Associates, Bachelor’s, or Master’s in Behavioral Health or related fields, relevant certification or licensure, experience in substance abuse counseling, knowledge of behavioral therapies, group facilitation skills, understanding of co-occurring disorders, strong communication skills, and teamwork ability.
