Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor to provide counseling and support in a detox facility.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, and using evidence-based techniques such as CBT and MI. The role involves individual, group, and family therapy, monitoring progress, collaborating with healthcare teams, and maintaining confidential records in compliance with HIPAA.

Requirements are an associate’s, bachelor’s, or master’s degree in Behavioral Health or related field, valid licensure/certification, proven counseling experience, and knowledge of behavioral therapy, group dynamics, and co-occurring disorders. Strong communication skills and teamwork are essential.
