Job Description
The Substance Abuse Therapist provides individual, group, and family therapy for clients with substance use and co-occurring behavioral health disorders.
Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, facilitating therapy sessions, documenting services, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support recovery and relapse prevention.
Qualifications include a Master’s degree, active state licensure, and experience in addiction or behavioral health treatment.
Skills required are strong facilitation, documentation, crisis intervention, and teamwork abilities.
Work involves office, residential, and outpatient settings, with shifts possibly including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
