Overview:

Behavioral Health Provider – LCSW & LPC

Fort Kent, Maine

This full-time hospital position offers a chance to join a new outpatient senior adult behavioral health and cardiopulmonary rehab programs. The role involves providing direct patient care, including assessments, treatment planning, and therapy (individual, couples, family, or group), tailored to the senior adult population. All benefits and salary are provided by the hospital, with a generous benefits plan.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling
  • Maine licensure as an LCSW or LPC
  • Interpersonal skills for quality patient care
  • Knowledge of growth, development, and psychosocial needs of geriatric patients
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and computer skills

Preferred:

  • 2+ years of outpatient or inpatient behavioral health experience
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams

Schedule: Monday-Friday, day shift hours.
