Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Therapist to provide therapeutic services in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities across Ohio.

  • Conduct individual, group, and family therapy tailored to residents’ needs.
  • Perform assessments such as Alzheimer’s screening and cognitive evaluations.
  • Develop behavior management strategies and support residents with emotional challenges.
  • Collaborate with facility staff, families, and healthcare providers for comprehensive care.
  • Provide staff training on behavioral health and care best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, emphasizing alternatives to medications and restraints.

    • Qualifications include a Master’s degree in a related field, active Ohio licensure (LMHC, LMFT, LPCC, LISW), and geriatric experience. Preferred skills include experience in long-term care and dementia care. The role offers competitive pay ($40-$50/hr), benefits including a sign-on bonus, medical/dental, 401(k), free CEUs, mileage reimbursement, and no on-call or weekend work. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, with opportunities for statewide travel.
